Im 17 and i was requested to commpete in a jerk tournament across america my mom said no what should i do?

i jerk for those who dont knoe what that is its people that wear skinny jeans.. ring a bell yet yea those people im one of them and i do pop lock, tut, robot, dougie, jerk, everything. plus i can make music etc if i win and i have been requested to compete in other competitions, guest judge, do songs, and be in other dance groups but my mother allways says no!! why cant i live my life =(
