Help Me Think of the Title of This Book I read when I was little about baby dinosaurs and an explorer.?

I used to love this picture book; it was about a famous explorer who discovered a island full of baby dinosaurs and he takes care of them. One likes to surf and another likes to eat. They eventually throw him a birthday party. I think the explorer was named tut-tut or one of the dinosaurs. I'm not sure but he had a submarine. Sorry its vague but I loved it as a child and would like to find it again. Please help.
