Can I put my Aveeno Daily Moisturizer on my sunburned face or will that only make it worse?

yes it will, anything that clogs the pores holds the heat in an makes the sunburn hurt. if you take a hot shower (it will hurt) but it will open the pores and let the heat out, and in a few days you can use your moisturizer and yor face to help prevent peeling
